at risk of sounding obvious, have you tried unequipping it from the hats menu? what happens?

ahaha, yes i unequip it every time but as soon as i join a different lobby, it reappears on my head and i have to remove again.

its a skull hat, however it was stuck on a different hat before. not sure how it got stuck on the skull at all. When i equip a different hat, ex. an owl, it will stay an owl until i join a new lobby, in the new lobby it will turn into the skull hat again.
