The decision to change from character count to the unknowing orb is ridiculous. Yet another example of Twitter UI/UX teams choosing aesthetics over practicality

I thought about this, reducing how strongly users associate tweets with character count. It's pretty underhanded - people care about character count for a reason, twitter is a content platform some people need to tightly edit
