I don't understand why Hypixel asks for your version in the survey.; they track that. Also, I they should ask "Do you use mods"

Yes but aren't they pretty much the same thing server side? They run on same protocol version that is probably why you cannot differentiate
there are differences that caused bugs on 1 specific subversion. we wanted to know how many people used that subversion to see impact
