Loot crates are going the same way as online passes did now. Seeing them included in games is now actively putting off potential buyers.

The plus side of this is that in about a years time we won't have loot crates any more. Which will be nice.

I disagree. People buy them in droves. Bad implementations will be reduced but nothing short of regulation will remove random drops
