I got a B, C, D in A Levels. I chose not to go to University + was unemployed for 1 year. Best decision I ever made in retrospect
I gained and learned more in 6 months of voluntary community management for a small Minecraft server than I did in 2 years of formal study

Through being active on Minecraft, Reddit and other online places, I met friends who would recommend me for jobs that led to me being here

In summary: unless you want to be a doctor or a lawyer, exam results are much less important than real experience + knowing people
