You can always tell when a show creator was inspired by Utopia. Weird blippy soundtrack, gratuitous violence, odd framing choices etc
In this instance, it's the first few minutes of Dirk Gently on Netflix. But I felt it in Mr Robot too, and a few other references

It's interesting enough to be worth a watch. I'm 3 episodes in, obviously not as good as Utopia, but still interesting :)
