China right now is opposing the installation of a U.S. missile defense system in South Korea. Going as far as boycotting Korean products.

So there has been a crackdown on imports of Korean goods, entertainment travel etc... This also expands to the Games Industry.

So right now the Chinese government is planning to block operating licenses for new games from Korean developers or based on Korean IP.

Games already in operation are unaffected, but it means that future games, such as Netmarble's "Lineage II Revolution" could be blocked.

Of course if this goes ahead then Korean games companies will be affected, as many recognise a good chunk of revenue from Chinese operations
