I do agree with what you are saying, but what about the people who draw fulfilment from giving themselves to a project?
Do those people not get to have advice? I'm personally not a fan of only having one public narrative, his / her story is valid

I guess it's more about teaching people to have awareness and be very critical with where they choose to spend their life + time
