When you write a ten tweet thread in response to someone else's six-tweet thread, it is very much the time to delete it and go to bed instead. Taking my own advice here.

Just getting mad about the opinions of people I don't personally know, and who will never read what I write. I could, and should, use that energy more positively instead.

I have a new rule I try to follow: don't get into 1:1 arguments with people I don't know irl will engage in good faith. it's helping (tho I break it sometimes, oof)
