yes, I left BA for multiple reasons, but one of the main reasons was that white leadership refused to make changes that my BIPOC coworkers and I constantly pushed for.

I always caught on to this when i noticed all the BA videos that featured Black (isnt Hawa like the only one?) and POC have the LOWEST VIEWS. I knew already what and who BA’s viewer base was, and how a lot of the white TK chefs were the more “popular ones”.

I think that people generally watch videos with personalities or interesting concepts in them. If BA was pushing and raising up Black chefs by giving them series and room to grow on screen (just like other chefs before them) they'd get more views rather than 2 one-offs from Hawa

I hope it goes without saying but just to clear up any confusion: I unequivocally support BA promoting more BIPOC and specifically Black chefs and paying them properly
