Wild, they taught us this in school but barely. Destroys the argument that these statues educate anyone about anything lol, I didn't even know this statue was of Colston (walked past it many times)
Slavery was barely covered in my school, think we did like two lessons on it, Bristol wasn't even mentioned in it. Walked past that statue so much, at one point I performed in the Colston hall just getting disturbing now.
