I knew since I was 15 but I didn't come out publicly until I was 26. My close friends + partners knew. It's easier to 'pass as straight', I'm no hero - I waited until I felt 100% safe in my career + tbh, I only came out because I felt like I was lying to people for no good reason

A small part of the Adopt Me studio mission is to build a games studio where people feel 100% comfortable being themselves, figuring themselves out. This is surprisingly uncommon in the games industry, where 'senior' people still struggle to understand pronouns, gender, sexuality
