Sexual identity and sexualisation are 2 separate concepts. Kids media references sexual / romantic identity all the time - how many cartoon characters talk about boyfriends + girlfriends? How many mums kiss dads in Disney movies? That's on-screen depiction of heterosexuality
If you think it's okay for boyfriends to talk about girlfriends, for straight people to talk about being straight but it's 'inappropriate for kids' for queer people to talk about same sex relationship, you're homophobic. This has been used through history to suppress queer people
I think we need to be more open about these things so kids can feel more relaxed about who they are my daughter is 8 years old and she understands all about it. I think it's better coming from me than learning about it from others who may be against it so they make it out wrong
Great parenting! Even if your daughter grows up to be straight, she's bound to have non-straight people in her life at school or work or elsewhere. I think you can start building a loving / accepting environment early on without going into details either way

I swear some people really don’t think before they speak if I had a kid I’d be fine if they understood homosexuality. It’s nothing bad for a kid to learn about it.
My 6 and 12 year old think their 20 year old bisexual sister is the most cool person in the world (which she is btw) They would not think twice seeing a gay, lesbian or straight couple kissing as to them its just nothing different I think it makes them more well rounded people
