Updating on Friday, every Friday, forever sucked. We had to cut stuff out of the updates to make release and often the updates would release super late compelling everyone to stay up late to play. Bad!

That's definitely one of the bigger perks!! (hint: the person writing this also lives in the UK)
And no more waiting around until 3am on a friday to push all the social media posts!

i do agree i had to stay up till like 3-4am each time, and the more detailed the updates are with less stress involved is a bonus!
I understand totally! you could almost see that the updates were never as polished and got worse over time because of that "we need to meet the deadline" ethos. Overall i think this will be a great decision and will benefit in the long run.
