I'm still 50/50 on what I prefer more for teams. I like Discord because I know it and I know what bot's I can introduce to make it better but Slack feels nicer and seems more professional for company teams. Hopefully, the move to Slack improves things for you though!

Slack is superior, but costs money. Discord was fine tbh, just has issues - less professional tools, no compliance (for legal stuff), no per-server DMs so feels bad when you DM someone, and most importantly it's the tool everyone used for fun, so having work on it impacts that
