I've worked as a public figure in several jobs where certain toxic people have sent mobs of people at me or coworkers, so this isn't my first time. Thankfully it doesn't bother me at all. I just mute + move on Pro-tip: I'll never validate spam mobs by responding to their demands
Worth remembering that having mobs of people sent at you is much worse for women and minorities. I thankfully have experience + thick skin, but having 1000s of people flood your usually quiet mentions is really scary, a fear tactic used by abusers to try to force their way in
If this ever happens to you, you should know it's okay to be scared, and it's okay to mute/block or set your accounts to private You don't owe the mob anything, you can stay safe - turn off the screen + spend some quiet time with friends and family who support you! 
But everyone deserves a second chance?! Don’t they? And when the adult was trying to be nice and everything gets worse..
Well after everything, sometimes second chances are either too risky, or just implausible. Let’s take hitler for example. Of course it’s far different but nobody would let him have a second chance at anything. So sometimes second chances just don’t happen
