yep, there's a regular rotation in the hat shop with a few robux items in a follow-up update soon we'll add other ways to unlock pet hats, this is just version 1 of this feature

Nah, they had serious hype because of the Xmas eggs and the Halloween pets. Once people realise that there isn't actually any pets being released this weekend the hype will rapidly die down
