Sometimes people will try to tear you down to compensate for their own insecurities! Don’t let anyone tell you who to be, or what to do.
Live for yourself, because at the end of the day those kinds of people won’t be living for you or your feelings anyway 
So true. The older I get, the more I focus on the positive people / things in my life, rather than what people think of me
