I get the point but cmon you can't say it gets "boiling hot" in the UK
It's all relative + not a competition. Last summer's UK heatwave saw an increase in deaths and heat-related injury and illness. It's not as hot as the Italian Summer, or Texas, or parts of Africa, or the inside of an active volcano lol. That's not the point. It gets hotter than is bearable for the average person and working from home sucks without AC
I went to Phoenix last September and was much more comfortable in their AC-everywhere, dry low 40°C heat than in the UK with our humid high 20°C heat. Here was miserable, AZ was nice.
