As with everything there are age cases where things work out great, but they are incredible rare and EVERYONE thinks they are "the exception that proves the rule" and then it ends badly

If you're in your teens or early 20s and an older guy says you're "mature for your age" that's a huge red flag for predator behaviour. The truth is usually that they haven't matured at all, and can't get people their own age to date them so they have to prey on younger people

At both 18 and 19 I had a guy who I was friendly with start flirting with me. Both times said guy was 10 years my senior. Freaked me out. :x

I know a lot of woman who had similar experiences with varying results. It's all too common and I hope we can get better at teaching young people the signs of predatory behaviour
