instructions on sausages said 'pan fry in a little oil, turn occasionally'. i've turned at least 6 times now, yet the sausages remain raw on one side

Usually you don’t need to put oil to fry the sausages, just turn the heat on and put it in and turn. The sausage itself has a crapton of oil itself so when you fry it, you’d see all of it coming out unless you boiled it first. I usually just fry mines without oil for that reason.
normally very accurate, but these are chicken sausages with a bunch of other stuff in them, so less added fat. the instructions explicitly said to use a little bit of oil. worked out fine tho
