If a developer wants to make an indie game on their weekends, or a comms person wants to do paid coverage for an event, why would I give a shit? Go make money, go learn + have fun, as long as your tasks get checked off the list I couldn't care less about when or how that happens

If someone is using secret NDA knowledge to benefit other employers (or themselves), that's bad and a breach of contract. But you should want your workers to have lives outside of work, be healthy adult humans. not weird labour goblins trapped in your crunch dungeon

we hate it so much. went as far as not to even own your 40 hours, work any time anywhere and all time off is paid for. just do the best you can and that’s it, that’s the contract
