I wish I had Roblox when I was growing up. Instead of failing to be a successful writer, I could have failed at being a successful Roblox developer!

When I was 11 my teacher asked me what I wanted to do when I was older. I said I wanted to make video games. She laughed in my face + said not to waste my time, that I should be an author or filmmaker. So my dumb 11yo ass was like "ok" and spent the next 7 years trying to do that

Had a lot of teachers and advisors insisting that programming work would all be outsourced in the future and pursuing that was a dead end. There’s a lot of bad advice out there...

Wow I got told to not even aim at anything creative because "you'll probably never make it". Wasn't until uni that I decided f it and even then I still had to muddle through finding out what creative passion I wanted to pursue because no one would help me with it. :x

When I was 11, my teacher told me to stop egging her house with my friends. I didn't. Years later, yolks on her! I've made eggs for Roblox hunts!

Weirdly enough haha I had the opposite reaction, I said I wanted to be a film maker, my friends were like bro you can program go into games. So... here I am in both film and games :D
