This is totally valid, don't worry - the story of HITMAN and HITMAN 2 is just flavour and you pick up a lot through in-game dialog and environment. absolutely not necessary to enjoy the sandbox gameplay + defo very "James Bond" Dad movie style plot

mmm, my absolute fav game of the past few years. Sapienza and Hokkaido in 1, and Miami / Isle of Sgail / New York (Bank) are incredible feats of level / interaction design. Enjoy!
