I say it every year, but I love when winners don't just mumble something about their "fellow nominees" and actually single out those nominees by name. Actors sometimes do this (Phoenix did at SAGs); I've never seen a director do it, certainly not to such moving effect. #Oscars
hard to call out fellow nominees when you have barely any time for your category. easier (and cooler) for the big categories where they get a little more time
