I don’t get the conspiracy theories. The point of a conspiracy is to do a thing such that it gets results and no one knows. This failed in the most spectacular, obvious way possible. Iowa is 56/4366 delegates, or 1.2% of the final delegate count. This conspiracy sucks.
I don't think there's a conspiracy, but I think you're underrating the importance of Iowa. There's a reason it's important - it sets the stage, it informs funding, it's a stronger indicator than just the percentage of delegates it accounts for
