In what sense are there "too many games being made"? In what sense is an increase in available funding options for mostly independent creators a bad thing? Would you prefer there to be less funding options for developers without your level of privilege?

It’s a joke... I don’t think too many games are being made (hence quotes) but if you talk to a segment of the industry that is the drumbeat - meanwhile there is a huge upsurge of funding opportunities for developers approaching this as a business.
