Still valid. Editing is super easy to learn imo, the most difficult part is learning the shortcut keys / "how do I do the thing I want to do"
Yeah, even just cutting up the stage shows and displaying two screens at once/blurring Jon's CeX bag on-stage has made me pretty confient I can do whatever I need to Nothing arcane about it, just need to build up the proof that I can do it for people who don't know me
