It's what I'm working on. I'm aiming to get a lot more pre-production video experience as part of my work on Insomnia this year, so I am confident in having the skills & portfolio to show off. Right now, what I have to show for it is me saying "I know I'd be good at it"
Mmm. Filling out the portfolio is beneficial regardless of this specific job imo, even for adjacent jobs it's like "look I'm cool I have proof I shipped projects, ran events, made this content etc"
Yeah, it's the one thing I don't have a lot of yet because I wasn't given the leeway to do video work until now. Now I'm pushing to do more pre-production and give myself more things to show beyond recordings of live shows and stats from events
Still valid. Editing is super easy to learn imo, the most difficult part is learning the shortcut keys / "how do I do the thing I want to do"
