One thing I'm eternally grateful for is my current employer's staunch resistance to needless crunch/overtime/burnout. If anything, I get encouraged to use downtime and PTO for wellness, and not overdo it. We all do. It's a very welcome change in this business.

yep, we're trying to be a minimal crunch, zero burnout studio. literally emergencies only ("the servers are on fire!" "there's a critical game-breaking bug!" etc)

The company I work for offers 1.5 times your hourly rate for any overtime, but there is no pressure to do it. There is enough work to always require it, but you can do it if you need a bit of a boost on payday.
