Worth adding that, as always, this disproportionately affects women, gender minorities, people of colour, people with social anxiety or other mental health issues, and young people desperate to break into their chosen industries

Companies that don't put salary ranges in job posts want to pay you less $$ by leveraging personal investment + social awkwardness to persuade you to take less than you're worth Your salary shouldn't be dependent on your ability to negotiate, should be based on value you provide

I don't think most people care about that tbh. Also helps filter out people who have higher salary expectations I wasn't subtweeting anyone by the way lol, I'm just editing 5 job posts atm and trying to figure out salary ranges but half the posts I looked at have hidden ones
