Was Untitled Goose Game good, or was it just culturally relevant and the Twitter memes were funny? Did you really LOVE the experience of playing it, or do you love the idea of playing it and the fact it exists at all and was successful and pretty?

I feel like the whole “It’s popular because it’s popular” really, reeeeaaally doesn’t apply to this game

I think it became popular because the moral fantasy of being an uncaring, minor-havoc wreaking Goose really resonates with a lot of people lol. It’s like the ultimate evolution of slapstick comedy lol

The game’s art direction is really charming and effective, and the way you interact with the AI of the villagers feels like you’re really interupting people with their own lives and personalities. The experience is really strong

I value your viewpoint. I have personal issues with the design but there's no doubting it positively affected many people, and that's great for the game and for gaming as a medium
