From what I've seen, that common human decency isn't all that common
At most, companies seem to tolerate diversity, but don't make a concentrated effort to make sure diverse individuals feel safe and accepted. which yall do, and it's a standard that everyone should follow -
Yeah, it's disheartening but we can all do a little to try to make the places we work better for all people and hope that it keeps getting better. It's definitely better in 2019 than it was in 2009, 1999!
