WHAT!? I volunteer at a large number of events and have (thankfully) never come across someone that shitty, I didn't think it was possible!
"penny-pinching" is the word that comes to mind. Most events are good, changed for the better, but there are still a few where volunteers are treated like garbage, unpaid free labour
I've definitely been lucky in that respect then, though that may come from most of my volunteer work being for charities at events (including Insomnia
).
