I'm bisexual lol I've known since I was 15, but always considered it private. But as I progress in my life and career, it feels increasingly weird to not talk about it. It's a part of who I am and maybe it'll help one person to hear this: you can be your true self and be happy

I'm lucky to have not been tormented by this. I never "struggled", 1 day I liked girls, then 1 day I like boys too. It took me a week of thinking it over to figure it out. Honestly: I kept it private for so long because it's easier to be a straight man in the UK games industry

In my first job straight men with power would sit in rooms and makes judgements about women, queers, people of color. And to belong in these rooms I had to play along, be one of the lads. I respect anyone hiding who they are during their hustle - do what you need to do to survive

Now, I'm good. I have a dope job and a resume that could get a bunch of dope jobs. I have close friends who I love and respect. I have money, I'm mostly healthy, things are good! You can be good too. You might have to hustle for a bit but better things are possible for you

It really sucks that there are still work places that make you feel so uncomfortable that you create an ~at work~ persona. Everyone should be given the chance and opportunity to be who they are and who they want to be.
