1 guy isnt setting up 8 PCs from scratch in a day, not happening guy
I worked for a 3000-person LAN event for years where we built and rented 100s of PCs. if all the parts are there it's doable in a day. Call it a day and a half max to account for issues 
24 hours yeah probably, but you're not gonna get 8 computers built, setup(via all windows downloads) and ready to go in an 8 hour work day without rushing things 
I'm sure you also had help when you setup 100s of PCs for that event!
