Due to another "smart" incident on my timeline, I wish to state the following: Game design is something anyone could do. It is hard to get good at, which takes experience and failure and time. Please don't dismiss the experience and hard work of your fellow game designers.

I recently got the chance to do a storyboard test for the studio I work in. I said yeah I know I'm not good at drawing but I want to learn. Holy... fuck... is it hard to do. I'd love for people who think something's easy to actually try it.

This is why I quit game design. Every day at work was a pot luck of what part of the established design I'd be defending. Worst moment was when the first jump in the game was made bigger because it "looked better" Nevermind teaching how far they can jump from a standing start...
