How many people are discovering new games through gaming press these days, as opposed to Reddit, Twitter, YouTube, Twitch, other social media and Word of Mouth?

The issue is it extends to all areas of gaming. An indie dev like 6 months ago shared comparisons of the number of games the top 50 Streamers played in 2016 vs 2018. It went from ~10 games to at most 2. These sites feed into the algorithm problem
