Had to be that way really. Would kill off the community if they were gonna split the playerbases. If they couldn't do it they couldn't make a sequel "so soon".

Yeah, I was surprised it was happening at all because of this. Seems more like this is an expansion or a collection of content being marketed as 'Overwatch 2' because they think it will sell more
