Quickly fell off my joy for The Outer Worlds, for the same reasons as the Fallout games - there's too much combat for a combat system that is at best passable but never a joy, and the roleplaying choices become less interesting once you've established who you're supporting.

When I'm casually mowing down 20 people and robots in a highly guarded area and feeling barely anything, it's an abject failure. The 3D Fallout style of combat should have never made it past 2010. Make it systemic, or strategic, or just anything else
