Umm, if you were making an introduction to grime playlist for someone who hasn’t heard a single second of grime...which artists would you include? I feel like I’ve listened to it since I was like 16 and I have no idea what’s accessible anymore. Tips appreciated!
Skepta, Stormzy, Dizzee Rascal, Wiley, Kano, Tempz, JME, Lethal Bizzle, Giggz. I'd probably mix in some grime-adjacent stuff like Streets, Roots Manuva, Jehst, original era dubstep, and more recently Lil Simz, Loyle Carner + Ocean Wisdom to show what's been built on foundations
