It’s probably an unpopular opinion, but if Sword and Shield has a Pokédex largely consisting of those actually in the game and it’s a collection you can ‘complete’ without finishing and trading forwards through multiple past games... I think I’d quite like that
The national deck was always separate from the local area deck but yeah, I know what you mean. I'm not fussed as a casual series player
