      oof yeah I’ve got like three iPhone lightning port -> headphone dongles rattling around my bags/apartment for exactly that reason.

      My Android phone losing its normal 3.5mm headphone jack for only USB-C has resulted in some similar fury. Also I've been through like 4 dongle adapters and they're all awful and die in like 1-2 months. Not to be ominous, hopefully the lightning ones are more durable!

      I’ve also just realized this means I won’t be able to charge and play music at the same time… Literally like the main best use of my phone is going out the window… What a fuckin disaster, lol
