The most disappointing aspect of this is that the interviewee thinks this is an exciting, fresh approach. Telling staff that crunch is not obligatory and if they lack the passion to work humane hours they should speak up is some boring, old, cruel bullshit. Improbable does have unlimited holiday and I definitely took a good chunk over the statutory amount last year. As long as you get your job done well, who cares?

I had unlimited holiday at my last job and took less holidays due to culture and other stuff. Unlimited is fine if you force people to take at least some
