Telltale needed to crunch so they wouldn't go under and Epic needs to crunch so it can keep on succeeding. Read between the lines and there can only be exploitation. No light at the end of the tunnel, just another 100hr work week whether you succeed or fail.

People at Bioware desperately wanted Dragon Age to fail, because they felt it was the only way the higher ups would realise things weren't working. When your own workers are praying for failure, something is rotten right down to the core
