I need to discuss something... If you're responding from a brand account and using 'I' or 'me' is that unprofessional? Of course there are cases of people who sign off the tweets as an individual on behalf of the company and that's fine.
Depends on context. If the account is run by one person and they have a specific relationship to the community, I works better in helping reinforce authenticity. Also works better for jokes imo
