my favourite bit of this gag is that rather than just sticking to an item description, the bat gives you little messages when it comes back. once it was really happy to tell me it had found nothing at all.

It's great! You can also get other 'scouts' - I have a little rat that's also an astronaut called a ratstronaut who is pumped to shoot off into the void
