Limits allow people to play with them. Having thousand options at your disposal removes these limits, makes balancing harder and forces players into a position of endless possibilities (from their opponents) After all chess has very limited options and it's still a brilliant game
I feel you. Usually when I have a desire to add MORE STUFF I usually need to cut down what I have by like 40% and see what is actually necessary
