Limits allow people to play with them. Having thousand options at your disposal removes these limits, makes balancing harder and forces players into a position of endless possibilities (from their opponents) After all chess has very limited options and it's still a brilliant game
I find it funny how many people are complaining about there being no wall running or double jumping or titans in Apex Legends, as if Respawn never tried it during their 2 years of prototyping and development. I feel you. Usually when I have a desire to add MORE STUFF I usually need to cut down what I have by like 40% and see what is actually necessary

It adds depth for sure, but it makes to game to fast for most. So focus on standard mechanics they did and we'll it's great.
