The key lesson to take away from Apex Legends' successful launch is that if you have an audience and a way to reach them (like streamers, youtubers) you don't need 12+ months of hype, trailers, build up. Just make a dope game and put it in front of people to play

Had a few snarky replies to this saying "But they spent a bunch of money on Streamers!" Yes, I'm aware, I mentioned streamers in my tweet. But AAAs regularly spend just as much or more across a 3, 6, 12+ month plan - Apex Legends proves this isn't always necessary for success
